| On Friday, Local 1180 received a notice of impasse from the city, for the negotiations with the Emergency Communications (EC) unit. Now, all four bargaining units are at impasse. The EC team was working hard to continue good faith negotiations and was surprised to receive the notice from the city. The EC unit still has nine articles outstanding and it looks as though the city doesn't care to try to work out a deal on them. |
